Class Descriptions

*All classes are modified for beginners
*Classes are either 45 or 60 minutes in duration (except yoga)

**Kids Fitness Camp
Starts June 23rd, 2008. This class lasts for 6 weeks, 12 classes, and is for Ages 10-15. Cost is $199.00. Call 973-927-9400 to register.

**Kids Sports Agility Camp - Train like a Pro, Stay Ahead of your Competition
Starts June 26th, 2008. This class lasts for 6 weeks, 12 classes, and is for Ages 13-17. Cost is $199.00. Call 973-927-9400 to register.

Sunrise Cycle
Start your day with a sunrise cycle class. This class will wake you up and energize you for the rest of your day. Aerobic conditioning and fat burning.

Cardio Cycle
This is an indoor biking class. Develop aerobic conditioning, strength, endurance and have fun. Simulate a hill climb or a ride along a flat country road.

Aerobic Fusion
This is a combination of cardio conditioning and strength training using weights, bands and stability ball to tone your entire body.

Core Conditioning
A deep muscle workout designed to develop strong abdominal muscles, improve balance, coordination and burn fat.

Body Toning
Upper and lower body workout using weights, resistance tubing and stability ball. This class tones and sculpts your muscles from head to toe while burning fat.

Stability Ball Core Training
Exercises that incorporate balance and core strength using the stability ball, weights and/or resistance tubing.

Kickboxing
A cardiovascular workout without complex choreography. This workout incorporates kicks, punches, balance and flexibility. Work at your own pace.

Pilates
The Pilates method of body conditioning has been the preferred method of conditioning by dancers because it creates long, lean muscles. Special attention is paid to the core muscles of the abdomen.

Boot Camp
A total body workout! This class develops aerobic conditioning, strengthens muscles and burns fat. It consists of a series of callisthenic exercises combined with resistance training. Easy to follow.

Yoga
Yoga enhances your health and well-being and compliments any other activity that you enjoy. A typical class begins with warm-ups and breath awareness, followed by a sequence of postures to stretch, strengthen and balance your body. Classes conclude with relaxation. All classes are taught by certified yoga instructors.

The style of Hatha Yoga taught is considered "eclectic" with a focus on the principals of alignment and form in lyengar, Anusara and Kripalu Yoga. Classes are one hour and fifteen minutes long. Students should bring their own sticky mats. We provide blankets, straps and other yoga tools for use in class.

*Mixed Level and Level I/II classes are open to all students including beginners. Level II/III classes are for experienced students.

Zumba
Zumba is a Latin inspired, dance fitness class and is designed for participants of any fitness level. It is a cardio-based workout that sculpts and tones the entire body.
